PACIFIC ASIA SOCIETY (PAS)

       Based on the memorandum of agreement (MoA) between Hung Vuong University (HVU) and The Pacific Asia Society (PAS), Korea, the two parties come to an agreement as follows:

  1. Maintain mutual effort and coordination to sustain a professional PAS Youth Corps Volunteer program;
  2. Devise and maintain an effective and creative PAS Youth Corps Volunteer Program;
  3. Contribute to strengthen and maintain a cohesive relationship between Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and Republic of Korea;
  4. Hung Vuong University (HVU) provides the required support for the activities of the PAS Youth Corps Volunteer Program;
  5. The Pacific Asia Society (PAS) provides the cost of stay to HVU participants during the duration of the program hosted by PAS in Korea.     

      Implementing the memorandum of cooperation between the two parties, the series of cultural exchange activities between students of Hung Vuong University (HVU) and the volunteer student group of the Pacific Asia Society (PAS) performed from July 01st, 2019 to July 19th, 2019 at Hung Vuong University with meaningful, interesting activities, had ended successfully.

      Also within the framework of the cooperation signing program between Hung Vuong University (HVU) and the Pacific Asia Society (PAS), from October 22nd to October 30th, 2019, the delegation of Hung Vuong University led by Dr. Phan Thi Tinh, Vice presidents and the members had a successful exchange organized by PAS in Seoul, Korea. HVU delegation participated in a series of activities such as: visiting the automobile factory of Hyundai Group-one of the powerful corporations of Korea and Asia, visiting KOICA’s Winter Exchange Program Volunteer Training facility in Yeongwol.

      The international exchange event was organized by the Pacific Asia Society in Korea with the participation of six universities in the region including: Gaza Mada University (Indonesia), National University (Kazahstan), Silpakorn University (Thailand), National University (East Timor), Dong Nai University of Technology and Hung Vuong University (Viet Nam).
