Welcome and Work with the Regional English Office, U.S. Embassy in Vietnam

On September 10, 2024, Hung Vuong University welcomed and held a working session with the Regional English Office of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam.

     Representing Hung Vuong University were Dr. Tran Dinh Chien, Vice Rector, and leaders of functional units. Representing the Regional English Office of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam were Mr. Williams Eran Michael, Regional Director, and Mr. Le Thuy Duong, Director in charge of Vietnam, along with the working delegation.

     Within the framework of the U.S. Department of State's Volunteer English Language Expert Program, the Regional English Office has dispatched and received approval from the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province for U.S. Volunteer English Language Expert Melita Fogle to teach at Hung Vuong University during the 2024-2025 academic year.

     During the program, the two units focused on discussing the assignment of tasks to the expert, coordination efforts, as well as prospects for enhanced cooperation. Proposals for collaboration in the fields of English teaching, and cultural and educational exchange between the U.S. Embassy and Hung Vuong University in the future were also discussed.
