First online meeting between Hung Vuong University with partners in Northern provinces of Laos about managements and cooperation in enrollment Laos students with in 2021

       On June 29th 2021, Hung Vuong University organized the first Online meeting about  managements and cooperation in enrollment Laos students with Northern provinces of Laos through Microsoft Teams.

       Participated in the meeting at Hung Vuong University, there was Mr. Tran Quyet Chien – Vice Director of Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs.  On the side of Hung Vuong University, there were Dr. Do Tung – Vice Rector and representatives from departments, lecturers and Laos students.

        The online meeting was honored to welcome leaders of Education and Sport Department and Foreign Affairs Department from Luong Nam Tha, U Dom Xay, Phong Sa Ly, Luong Pha Bang provinces.

        Up to the school year 2020-2021, Hung Vuong University has been training more than 300 Laos students at Master and Bachelor levels. There were 121 Laos students graduated and returned to home.Many of them became managers, researchers and professional staffs at agencies, organizations and shools of Laos.

       The delegates of the two sides focused on exchanging and discussing the management of Laos students at Hung Vuong University. At the same time, Hung Vuong University introduced and shared information related to the enrollment of Laos students. Accordingly, in 2021, the university continues to enroll 37 undergraduate majors and 08 master’s majors; including following majors: Economics, Languages, Technology, Culture – Tourism, Agriculture – Forestry – Fisheries, Pedagogy and Health (Nursing). In particular, Nursing is a new major, licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training in 2020 to provide Laos learners with many choices.

        The meeing took place successfully, both sides had effective discussions to propose solutions to improve the efficiency in the management, training and enrollment of Laos students at Hung Vuong University in coming years./.
