The Virtual English Language Fellow Program of Hung Vuong University.

     On March 8^th, 2022 Hung Vuong University (HVU) successfully organized the opening ceremony Virtual English Language Fellow Program academic year 2021-2022 through Microsoft Teams. The project is sponsored by the Regional English Language Office, the U.S Embassy in Hanoi with the main purpose to improve the English skills of HVU students and lecturers.

     The meeting had the participation of representatives from Hung Vuong University: International Cooperation Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, and students. In particular, there was Professor Cassandra Morman – Volunteer Teacher of the program.

     Dr. Pham Thai Thuy – Head of the International Cooperation Department gave his speech to welcome Prof. Cassandra Morman to HVU online classes. He expressed his gratitude and wished the Professor would have an effective and memorable studying time with HVU students. He also believes that after this course, HVU students will improve their English skills, especially speaking competence.

    The volunteer teacher of the program - Prof. Cassandra Morman sent her warm greetings to all of the HVU lecturers and students. She’s really excited about teaching and working with HVU students as well as HVU lecturers.

     The program will last from March to June 2022 through MS Teams. There are five groups with a total number of 130 students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages who will participate in online classes. Hopefully, this project would help HVU students and lecturers have the opportunity to learn with a native speaker in order to improve English communication skills./.
