Hung Vuong university organized Opening ceremony "Korea Corner"

On October 5, 2023, Hung Vuong University solemnly organized the opening of "Korean Corner") - a non-project under the Korea Fundattion (KF), Korean Embassy in Hanoi sponsorship and location at the university.

Attending the program, from the Korea Foundation Office in Hanoi, there was Mr. Choi Jaejin - Chief Representative and the delegation.

On the part of leaders of departments, branches and organizations in Phu Tho province, there were: Mr. Tran Ngoc Duong - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Ta Thi Mai Hong – Vice Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Dinh Duc Phong - Representative of the Department of Finance; Mr. Jeon Kyu Hwan - Chairman of the Korean Business Chamber in Phu Tho (KORCHAM Phu Tho).

On the side of Hung Vuong University, there was Mr. Ta Quoc Thinh - Vice Rector and representatives of leaders of relevant functional units.

In order to enhance cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries Vietnam - Korea in general, at the same time promote the cooperative relationship between Hung Vuong University with the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Korea Foundation in particular. Receiving the attention of leaders of Phu Tho province; Departments, branches and relevant agencies, Hung Vuong University has received and implemented the construction of "Korea Corner" by the Korea Foundation, Korean Embassy in Vietnam.

After receiving the sponsorship, Hung Vuong University and related units urgently completed construction procedures according to regulations. After 3 months of actively implementing the "Korea Corner" has been completed, ensuring progress, quality, technique, and aesthetics according to the plan. "Korea Corner" is arranged for construction investment on the 3rd floor, Library of Hung Vuong University. Lecturers and students of the univesity can access documents, books and newspapers about Korean culture and language through displays that introduce traditional images and artifacts of Korea.

The program of opening "Korea Corner" into operation contributes to introducing language training activities and promoting the image of Hung Vuong University. Thereby contributing to improving training quality and promoting the comprehensive strategic relationship between Vietnam and Korea in general and the relationship between Hung Vuong University and Korean partners in particular.
