The online MoU signing ceremony between Hung Vuong University (HVU) and Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology

      On January 21st, 2022, Hung Vuong University and Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan successfully held the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony about training and science research cooperation.

                                Overview of the online MOU signing ceremony

      The signing ceremony was held online with the participation of Dr. Hoang Cong Kien, Rector of Hung Vuong University, Dr. Do Khac Thanh, Chairman of the board, Dr. Do Tung, Vice-Rector, representatives from the International Cooperation Department, Academic Affairs Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, lecturers, and staff.

      Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, there were Mr. Ta-Wei, Lee, President of  Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, Mr. Ya Fu Peng, Head of International Cooperation Department, and representatives from several departments from the university as well as the staff from the representative office in Hanoi.

      On behalf of the management board, Dr. Hoang Cong Kien had highly appreciated the significance of the MoU signing between the two sides. He affirmed that this would be an important milestone to promote cooperative relationships for mutual benefits, towards sustainable development. Hung Vuong University has paid attention to establishing and developing cooperative relationships with international universities, organizations, and enterprises worldwide. In addition, he expressed his desire to implement cooperative activities between the two sides such as: training programs and scientific research; exchanging experts, lecturers, students, and other related activities.

      Mr. Ta-Wei, Lee, President of Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology had a brief introduction about Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology and emphasized that despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the close relationship between the two universities had been continuously consolidated and developed base on the mutual understanding.

      This cooperation aims to expand international exchanges and cooperation in training and science research. At the same time, it promotes friendly cooperation and mutual understanding between both sides through the following areas:

  1. Exchanging students for research, study, internship and practice;
  2. Exchanging of lecturers, staff, and researchers;
  3. Seeking support for projects determined to be mutually beneficial to both parties;
  4. Jointing in research activities;
  5. Participating in education programs;
  6. Organizing and participating in seminars, symposia, short-term programs, and academic exchange;
  7. Exchanging research and educational materials, publications and academic information;
  8. Providing technical support.

      The two sides committed to support, and deploy cooperation activities and would soon coordinate with partners to build detailed exchange programs for students and lecturers./.
