Laos students studying at Hung Vuong University having their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
In 13th August 2021, 164 Laos students at Hung Vuong University had their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Phu Tho General Hospital. This activity was supported by Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, Department of Health, and Department of Foreign Affairs.
There were 164 out of 172 Laos students vaccinated (accounts for 95% of the total number of students). Laotian students who have not yet been eligible for injection continue to follow up for the next time. All of the students were very happy and comfortable with the provincial government’s support and good service from the hospital.
This is the university’s effort in coordinating with relevant departments in Phu Tho province in order to ensure healthy conditions for Lao students to study during the Covid-19 pandemic. It expresses the strong interest of The Board of Management of Hung Vuong University to attract international students./.
