Hung Vuong University works with EM Normandie University (France)

On January 10th 2017, a delegation of EM Normandie University (France) led by Mrs. Hélène Pilet - Director of International Recruitment Division paid a visit to Hung Vuong University. Receiving the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Van Long - Head of International Cooperation Unit, Mr. Do Xuan Nhuan - Head of Operational Unit, Center for Information and Foreign Service from Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs; Assoc.Prof. Cao Van - President, Heads of International Cooperation Department, Academic Training Department, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities from Hung Vuong University.

At the meeting, leaders of Hung Vuong University and EM Normandie University briefed on their school history of establishment and development, introduced educational strengths as well as discussed future cooperation opportunities. EM Normandie University has strength for training bachelors, postgraduate and especially cooperating with many other schools in the international student training models of 1+3, 3+1 while applying an intelligent school management model that meets international standards, so on. Currently, over 700 international students are studying at EM. 95% of the school’s students are employed after 6 months of graduation.

Additionly, at the meeting, EM Normandie University also pledged to consider the transfer of appropriate training programs (such as Tourism and Travel Management, International Trade) for Hung Vuong University; participate in postgraduate education programs in areas that both sides can undertake; deploy student exchange programs, short-term training ones for students and lecturers, etc.

It is hoped that the initial success of the meeting will open more opportunities for long-term cooperation in training between the Vietnamese university and its French partner.
