Bupimay Traditional New Year 2022 (2565) for Laos students studying at Hung Vuong University

     On the occasion of Bunpimay - the traditional New Year of Laos 2022 (2565), Hung Vuong University held several activities to celebrate Laos students studying at the university. These activities were held from April 14^th – 16^th, 2022 with the participation of representatives of leaders, teachers from Hung Vuong University and nearly 200 Laos students studying at the university.

     This celebration aims to foster exchange between the Lao students and Vietnamese students and teachers, and encourage international students to explore cultural characteristics of Vietnam and Laos. Up to now, Hung Vuong University has fully encouraged Lao students to study and practice well in their studying time. Dr. Phan Thi Tinh – Vice Rector of Hung Vuong University gave a speech and flowers to celebrate Bunpimay Festival to all of Laos students studying at Hung Vuong University.

     On behalf of Laos students at Hung Vuong University, Mr. Inthavone Phasouk – K16 student expressed his gratitude to encouragement and support of HVU teachers and local government.

     In particular, on the occasion of this Bunpimay Traditional New Year, Hung Vuong University organized a field trip for Laos students to experience culture and discover the heritage  at Long Coc tea hill, one of the best tea hills in Vietnam (in Long Coc Commune, Tan Son district, Phu Tho province).

     These activities contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation relationship, further tightening the solidarity between the people of two countries in general, Phu Tho province and some Laos’ Northern Provinces in particular./.
